GET WEIRD

handmade surfcraft by logan moore

who, what, when, where, and why

It all started in a small one car garage back in 2014. I shaped a board and my friend Brad Barbee glassed it. It was a pretty terrible shape, so I made another. The passion grew from there and slowly ramped up until I was glassing boards for other backyard/garage shapers like myself.

By the time I hit 100 handshapes I stumbled into a job building lifeguard rescue boards in North Carolina. That was when board building turned from a hobby into a career. After almost 4 years of building rescue boards full-time (and Nebulas after hours!) I developed a bad allergy to epoxy resin, had to give up that job in NC, and moved back to Florida to set up my own little “factory”.

Since opening my own “factory” in 2023, I’ve been building Nebulas, glassing other shaper’s boards, doing ding repairs, and making surf mats back in Brevard County Florida where my journey began.
